Job summary

Muna Noor Engineering & Contracting LLC (MNEC) is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for our construction division. The role focuses on coordinating and executing building projects, leading multidisciplinary site teams, and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with quality and safety compliance.

The candidate will oversee earthworks through external works, review drawings, manage budgets, and liaise between clients, PMC, and suppliers to maintain smooth project progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and building construction projects.
• Proven experience in managing and coordinating building construction projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of earthworks, structural works, architectural finishing, and external works.
• Excellent understanding of project planning, budgeting, cost estimation, cost control, and resource management.
• Proficiency in reviewing and coordinating engineering drawings, with practical knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, quality assurance, HSE requirements, and project documentation.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from execution through completion and handover.
• Manage construction activities, including earthworks, substructure, superstructure, architectural finishing, and external works.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary site teams, engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Act as the central coordination point between clients, PMC, consultants, engineering teams, procurement, construction, and commercial departments.
• Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
• Implement effective cost control measures to minimize wastage, optimize resources, and maintain project profitability.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential delays and risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate procurement activities, material requirements, supplier deliveries, and subcontractor performance.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction methodologies.
• Resolve technical, operational, and site-related issues to ensure uninterrupted project execution.
• Oversee project documentation, material approvals, technical submittals, inspections, and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, approved drawings, quality standards, HSE regulations, and project timelines.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning where applicable, snagging, and final project handover.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to management and project stakeholders.

About the Role
