Job summary

eMushrif is seeking a Product Lead (UI/UX & Design) to drive design vision, UX strategy, and product execution across its portfolio. You will collaborate with engineering, research, marketing, and customers to create intuitive and impactful experiences.

The role requires 5+ years in UI/UX or design leadership, a strong portfolio, and fluency with Figma and design systems. You will lead end-to-end design, establish principles, and mentor the design team in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, UX, or related field.

• Track record leading design for digital products from concept to launch.
• Strong portfolio with design systems and user-centered solutions.

The Accountabilities and Activities

• Define and communicate the product's design vision, UX strategy, and experience roadmap aligned with organizational objectives.
• Champion design thinking and user-centered methodologies across product development.
• Identify opportunities to elevate user experience through market analysis, user research, and emerging design trends.
• Establish design principles, experience goals, and success metrics to guide product decisions.
• Develop and maintain a design-driven product roadmap, balancing user delight, business requirements, and technical feasibility.
• Lead the end-to-end user experience lifecycle, from research and ideation through prototyping, testing, and iteration.
• Oversee the creation of wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs and brand standards.
• Establish and maintain a cohesive design system, UI component library, and interaction patterns for consistency across products.
• Ensure accessibility, usability, and inclusivity standards are embedded into all product experiences.
• Drive visual design excellence, ensuring products are aesthetically compelling and functionally intuitive.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure seamless translation of designs into functional products.

User Research & Insights

• Develop a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, motivations, and pain points.
• Lead and conduct user research activities including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual inquiries.
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and validate solutions.
• Synthesize research findings into actionable insights, personas, journey maps, and opportunity areas.
• Champion a user-centric culture and advocate for the voice of the user throughout the product lifecycle.

Design Performance & Continuous Improvement

• Define and track key design and experience metrics (e.g., usability scores, task completion rates, NPS, user satisfaction).
• Analyze product usage, user feedback, and behavioral data to identify UX improvement opportunities.
• Drive continuous design optimization, innovation, and experience enhancements.
• Stay current with industry trends, design tools, and best practices to evolve the team's capabilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience, Product Design, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or certifications in UX/UI design, design thinking, or product management is a plus.
• Proven experience (5+ years) in UI/UX design, product design, or design leadership roles.
• Demonstrated track record of leading design for digital products from concept to launch.
• Experience managing design strategy, roadmaps, and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, design systems, and user-centered solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
