Location: Muscat, Oman. Working Arrangement: on-site. Language Requirements: Fluency in English (written and spoken). We are seeking an experienced Poultry Health Manager to lead poultry health programs across production operations. The role will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive health strategies, monitoring flock health and performance, managing disease prevention and biosecurity programs, and ensuring compliance with veterinary and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining bird health, improving productivity, and supporting operational excellence across poultry facilities. Key Requirements Proven experience managing poultry health programs within the poultry industry. Other Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities. Ability to prepare technical reports and present recommendations to senior management. Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee poultry health programs to maintain optimal flock health and productivity. Design and implement vaccination schedules, disease prevention programs, and biosecurity measures. Monitor flock health, mortality, production performance, and disease trends across operations. Investigate disease outbreaks and implement corrective and preventive actions. Coordinate diagnostic testing and collaborate with laboratory teams to support disease surveillance and health monitoring. Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations, animal welfare requirements, and company health standards. Provide technical guidance to production, hatchery, and farm management teams on poultry health best practices. Monitor the effectiveness of health programs and recommend continuous improvement initiatives. Prepare health reports, disease surveillance summaries, and operational recommendations for management. Stay up to date with emerging poultry diseases, veterinary practices, and industry developments to enhance flock health and operational performance.
