Job summary

L&T Case Equipment Private Limited is seeking a Primavera P6 Scheduler / Planning Engineer in Oman to develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6. You will prepare baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules, monitor progress, and coordinate with multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include CPM analysis, progress reporting, and updating resource loading and forecast dates.

Qualifications

• Proven experience creating and maintaining detailed project schedules in Primavera P6.
• Experience with baseline, recovery, and look-ahead schedules and EOT support.
• Strong CPM analysis skills and progress reporting.

• Collect progress updates from engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Perform CPM analysis and identify critical and near-critical activities.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and contractual dates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Analyze schedule performance and provide corrective action recommendations.
• Update resource loading, activity progress, remaining durations, and forecast dates.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify delays, constraints, and schedule risks.
• Support preparation of EOT and delay analysis documentation.
• Assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.

• Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, recovery schedules, look-ahead schedules, and revised project programmes.
• Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline and identify schedule deviations.
• Collect progress updates from engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Perform Critical Path Method (CPM) analysis and identify critical and near-critical activities.
• Track project milestones, deliverables, and key contractual dates.
• Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports.
• Analyze schedule performance and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and prepare S-Curves, manpower histograms, progress curves, and productivity reports.
• Update resource loading, activity progress, remaining durations, and forecast dates.
• Coordinate with project teams to identify delays, constraints, and potential schedule risks.
• Support preparation of EOT (Extension of Time) and delay analysis documentation.
• Assist in developing recovery and mitigation plans for delayed activities.
