Job summary

PrimeGlobal is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage financial transactions, produce reports, and ensure compliance with regulations in Nizwa. The role requires strong accounting principles knowledge, accuracy, and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least 2 years of accounting experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks. Part-time options and accommodation are available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Accountant.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
• Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tax filings.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure proper allocation of funds.
• Review and analyze financial statements for discrepancies or errors.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
• Communicate with clients or vendors regarding billing or payment inquiries.
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and best practices.
