Central Bank of Oman is seeking an Omani candidate for the role of Technical Open Finance Specialist. The role focuses on designing, implementing, and evolving Open Banking APIs and Open Finance capabilities, ensuring secure, scalable, and standards-based integration across banks, PSPs, and TPPs.

You will work with internal teams and external providers to establish API standards, governance, and conformance testing, while monitoring evolving security models and regulatory guidance.

Competenze

• Minimum 6 years of experience in IT.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, software engineering, or closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, OpenAPI/Swagger, API gateways, and system integration.

Mansioni

• Act as Open Finance Department’s technical SME for Open Banking/API design, security and interoperability.
• Support development and evolution of API requirements and specifications.
• Review partner API specs for alignment with Open Banking/Open Finance requirements.
• Define common technical requirements for consistent integration across banks, PSPs, TPPs, aggregators and ecosystem players.
• Maintain technical documentation, interface requirements, and change records to support adoption.
