Job summary

OFT Oman is seeking a Finance Controller to lead the end-to-end finance function for its Oman operations. The role reports to the Country Head - Oman within the Finance department.

The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in finance leadership, a degree in accounting/finance, and professional qualifications like ACCA/CPA/CMA are strongly preferred; IFRS/GAAP knowledge and fintech exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in finance leadership or controller role.
• Bachelor degree in accounting/commerce/finance required.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA strongly preferred.
• Strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge and regulatory compliance experience.
• Experience in fintech/payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finance function for Oman operations with accurate reporting.
• Handle accounting, month-end closings, audits, tax compliance and business partnering.
• Ensure compliance, governance and strong internal controls.
• Oversee treasury, cash flow forecasting, and bank relationships.
• Prepare regulatory reports, budgeting, variance analysis and management reporting.
