Job summary

Tanqeeb seeks an experienced Start-up/Field Operations professional to support onshore and offshore activities in Sohar, Oman and later offshore Qatar. The role involves witnessing OTP, coordinating commissioning and start-up procedures, and ensuring safe start-up operations with the Field Operation team.

You will manage permits, risk assessments, and safety trainings while adapting to 28/28 offshore rotations and relocation requirements.

Qualifications

• Higher National Diploma or equivalent required for onshore/offshore roles.
• COMPEX certification is mandatory for offshore operations.
• Minimum 5 years in oil and gas operations, including offshore facilities.

Responsibilities

• Witness and execute Operational Test Procedures (OTP).
• Assist commissioning and start-up activities and prepare start-up procedures.
• Prepare permits to work and liaise with Field Operation team during start-up.
• Coordinate safety reviews, risk assessments and hazard identifications on site.
