Job summary

Elsa Talent Solutions Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Drilling Supervisor to lead offshore drilling operations on a deepwater wellsite. You will supervise contractors, ensure compliance with HSSE standards, and optimize performance to minimize NPT.

The role requires 5+ years in senior drilling supervision, OPITO BOSIET, IWCF Level 4, and strong well construction knowledge. Multicultural offshore teamwork and effective reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years as Senior Drilling Supervisor in deepwater offshore operations.
• Valid OPITO BOSIET and IWCF Level 4 certifications.
• Strong knowledge of well construction, drilling operations, well control, and offshore HSE management systems.
• Familiarity with drilling reporting systems (Landmark) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good communication, leadership, and stakeholder management in multicultural offshore environments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily drilling operations at the wellsite.
• Provide on-site leadership and oversight of drilling contractors and third parties.
• Ensure HSSE policy compliance and promote safety culture.
• Monitor operations, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate mobilization of personnel, materials, and services.
• Verify availability and maintenance of drilling equipment and backup gear.
• Prepare material requisitions, loadout plans, and inventory records.
• Review daily drilling reports and other wellsite documentation.
• Monitor wellsite costs and identify efficiency improvements.
• Participate in incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Lead pre-tour meetings, toolbox talks, and HSE meetings.
• Report progress, risks, and performance to Drilling Superintendent.
