Job summary

Central Bank of Oman seeks a Program Manager to lead the National Fintech Strategy implementation and provide central PMO support across internal departments, regulators, and external stakeholders.

You will coordinate workstreams, establish milestones, KPIs, and governance, and deliver comprehensive progress reporting to senior stakeholders. A senior candidate with multi-stakeholder programme experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field; master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum 6-8 years of experience in project or programme management, ideally supporting national strategies, government taskforces, or large-scale, multi-stakeholder transformation programmes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and execution of the National Fintech Strategy across government entities, regulators, and external stakeholders.
• Translate objectives into structured workplans, timelines, and ownership assignments for each initiative.
• Act as central point of coordination between workstream leads and manage interdependencies.
• Develop and maintain the integrated implementation roadmap and a consolidated portfolio of initiatives.
• Monitor progress against milestones, escalate delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare executive dashboards, progress reports, and briefing materials for governance bodies.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies and maintain a live risk/issue register.
• Provide programme management support including scheduling, resource coordination, and documentation.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field
