Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Muscat is seeking a senior electrical maintenance technician to perform troubleshooting, inspection, reconditioning, overhaul and repair of mobile equipment and plant machinery to ensure safe, reliable operations with minimal downtime.

You will diagnose faults using computerized diagnostic tools, inspect electrical systems, calibrate devices, repair wiring, sensors and safety circuits, and keep accurate maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and repair of heavy construction equipment.
• Experience on metal recovery plants, screening plants, cranes and mobile equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for electrical and electronic systems.
• Experience with A/C diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of OEM electrical systems, safety devices and control circuits.
• Proficient in reading electrical diagrams and schematics; English fluency.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repairs on heavy equipment during breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and calibration devices.
• Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems on mobile equipment and plants.
• Ensure safety devices and risk controls are functioning to OEM standards.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation in the CMMS.
• Coordinate with maintenance supervisor to prioritize work and improvements.
