Job summary

Harsco Environmental in Muscat/Belt region seeks an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair and overhaul heavy mobile equipment. You will work on diesel, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, read engineering drawings, and perform preventative maintenance while ensuring safety and reliability.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on maintenance experience with CAT/Doosan/Komatsu machines, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a busy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate is a plus.
• Strong hands-on maintenance and overhaul experience with heavy equipment.
• Experience servicing CAT, Doosan and Komatsu equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of OEM maintenance standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and overhaul heavy equipment and machinery.
• Test and inspect repaired/assembled equipment for proper operation per specs.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using tools and hoists.
• Perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, servicing and inspections.
• Read technical manuals and engineering drawings and apply procedures.
• Coordinate with supervision on maintenance schedules and repair priorities.
