Job summary

Robotico Digital Llp seeks an experienced Middleware/Integration Engineer to design, implement, and manage APIs with IBM API Connect and ACE. You will orchestrate data flows, optimize messaging with IBM MQ and ActiveMQ, and ensure security, auditing, and performance across cloud environments.

We expect 5+ years in middleware, strong scripting skills, and familiarity with REST/SOAP, JMS, MQTT and AMQP. Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift is advantageous, with a graduate qualification

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in middleware/integration engineering.
• Strong hands-on expertise with IBM API Connect, IBM App Connect Enterprise, IBM MQ, and ActiveMQ.
• Good understanding of data formats such as XML, JSON.
• Experience in flow development, exception handling, ACE IDE.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP, JMS, MQTT, AMQP, event-driven architecture.
• Scripting and automation (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Good understanding of Windows, Linux, and AIX operating systems.
• Experience in cloud environments.
• Soft skills: problem solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, strong communication, banking domain awareness.
• Graduate in IT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Build and orchestrate integration flows in ACE.
• Configure and optimize IBM MQ and ActiveMQ messaging.
• Monitor performance, logging and tracing for reliability.
• Support CI/CD automation and DevOps tooling.
• Provide L1/L2 support for middleware and payment systems.
