Job summary

Nafal Contracting & Trading Company is seeking an experienced MEP engineer to lead electrical and plumbing activities on site in Muscat. Responsibilities include installing electrical and ELV systems, testing and commissioning, and coordinating with other trades to ensure progress adheres to drawings and standards.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of MEP experience and a PE license, plus familiarity with BIM tools like Revit for advanced

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, ensuring a strong foundational knowledge of MEP systems.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP engineering, with a proven track record in commercial or industrial projects.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or similar certification, demonstrating recognized expertise in the field.
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, such as Revit, to facilitate advanced design processes.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Electrical systems including power, lighting, earthing, and testing.
• Installation of fire alarm, emergency lighting and other ELV system components.
• Testing and commissioning handover of electrical systems with adherence to drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with other trades and maintain site progress.

Installation of Electrical systems including power lighting earthing Lightning protection Cable tray conduit cabling termination works Installation of DBs MDBs SMDBs associated equipment Fire alarm emergency lighting other ELV system installation Testing commissioning handover of electrical systems Ensure compliance with drawings specifications safety standards Coordinate with other trades and maintain site progress

Plumbing Activities

Installation of cold hot water supply systems Installation of sanitary drainage waste vent systemsInstallation of soil waste rainwater SWR storm water systemsInstallation of fixtures fittings plumbing accessories Testing flushing commissioning of plumbing systems Ensure compliance with drawings specifications standardsCoordinate with other trades and maintain site progress
