Job summary

Pinnacle Global employment Pvt Ltd is seeking a Senior Mechanical Maintenance Technician to lead maintenance activities in industrial facilities with emphasis on boilers, steam systems and sterilization equipment. The role requires hands-on experience in hospital or industrial plant environments and strong problem-solving skills.

The position calls for an associate degree or technical training in mechanical maintenance, with preferred CMRT certification and several years of hands-on experience

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance of boilers, steam systems and sterilization equipment.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps and related machinery.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Know-how of safety standards and proper equipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot boilers and steam distribution systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps, compressors, and related equipment.
• Carry out maintenance and repairs of autoclaves, sterilizers and other sterilization devices.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laundry equipment, water treatment plants, and associated machinery.
• Inspect and maintain LPG storage, supply and distribution systems.
• Conduct welding, fabrication and mechanical repair activities as required.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

Educational Qualification

Minimum SSC 10th Pass Recognized ITI Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering Fitter Mechanical Maintenance or a relevant technical trade

Experience

2 3 years 2 ExperienceMinimum 5 years of relevant post-certification experience in mechanical industrial maintenance Experience in hospitals healthcare facilities industrial plants or large commercial establishments will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Operate inspect maintain and troubleshoot boilers and steam distribution systems
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of pumps compressors and associated mechanical equipment
• Carry out maintenance servicing and repairs of autoclaves sterilizers and other sterilization equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot laundry equipment water treatment plants and associated machinery
• Inspect and maintain LPG storage supply and distribution systems
• Perform welding fabrication and mechanical repair activities as required
• Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and implement preventive maintenance schedules
• Diagnose mechanical faults and undertake corrective actions to minimize equipment breakdowns and downtime
• Maintain equipment history cards maintenance logs inspection reports and breakdown records
• Ensure safe operation of mechanical equipment in accordance with applicable safety standards and procedures

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of mechanical and industrial maintenance
• Hands-on experience with boilers steam systems pumps compressors and sterilization equipment
• Working knowledge of welding fabrication and mechanical fitting
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to identify mechanical faults and perform equipment repairs
• Understanding of preventive corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and safe equipment handling

Preferred Qualification

Valid Boiler Operator Certification will be an added advantage Experience in hospital engineering and facility maintenance will be preferred Minimum of an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field. Certifications such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) or similar are highly desirable. At least 3 years of hands‑on experience in a mechanical technician role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and schematics, with strong problem‑solving skills.
