Job summary

Pinnacle Global employment Pvt Ltd in Muscat, Oman is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in boilers, steam systems, pumps, compressors and sterilization equipment.

The role requires 5 years post-certification experience, preferably in hospital facilities or large industrial plants. Candidates should hold SSC/10th pass and an ITI trade certificate in a relevant mechanical trade; boiler operator certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum SSC 10th Pass with ITI Trade Certificate in a mechanical trade
• 5 years post-certification experience in mechanical and industrial maintenance
• Experience in hospital facilities, industrial plants or large commercial establishments preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, operation, commissioning, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of mechanical and industrial equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, steam systems, pumps and air compressors
• Carry out maintenance and servicing of autoclaves, sterilizers and other sterilization equipment
• Maintain laundry equipment and water treatment systems
• Inspect, maintain and troubleshoot LPG storage and distribution systems
• Perform mechanical repair work including welding, fabrication and equipment alignment
• Handle hydraulic and pneumatic systems including fault diagnosis and repairs
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure operational efficiency
• Identify equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Maintain equipment maintenance records, inspection reports and service logs
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and applicable procedures

Preferred Qualification

• Possesses a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a strong emphasis on technical coursework.
• Holds a relevant Associate's Degree or completion of a vocational training program in Electro-Mechanical Technology is preferred.
• Obtains certifications in areas such as electrical systems, PLC programming, or industrial maintenance.
• Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
