Job summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Inspector to oversee material receiving, inspection, verification, and documentation activities for Oil & Gas projects in the GCC region. The candidate will ensure all incoming materials comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements while maintaining accurate inspection records and coordination with project stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform inspection and verification of incoming materials, equipment, and documentation.
• Ensure materials comply with approved specifications, standards, and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, QA/QC, and project teams for material acceptance and discrepancies.
• Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, and material receiving records.
• Monitor storage and handling practices to ensure material preservation and traceability.
• Verify certification, calibration, and supporting documents for received materials.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and client quality requirements.
• Participate in audits, site inspections, and client/vendor coordination as required.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline with minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 5 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region.
• Diploma in relevant discipline with minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 7 years with an Oil & Gas operating company within the GCC region.
• Strong experience in material receiving inspection within Oil & Gas projects.
• Familiarity with international codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures.
• Good knowledge of material documentation, traceability, and warehouse practices.
• Ability to work in remote site locations and rotational assignments.
