Job summary

SafeBox in Nizwa, Oman, is seeking a mason to join our construction team. You will lay foundations and build walls using bricks and blocks on residential and commercial sites. Basic masonry knowledge is expected; no prior experience is required.

Applicants must be able to work full-time on-site in Nizwa; reading blueprints is a plus. Salary is 1700 USD per month, with possible increases based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• Nationalities: Egyptian or Nepali.
• Must be able to work full time in Nizwa.
• No previous experience required.
• Knowledge of basic masonry techniques and tools.
• Ability to read blueprints is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out patterns or foundations according to blueprints or drawings.
• Use hand and power tools to cut and shape bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials.
• Mix mortar or grout according to specifications.
• Build structures such as walls, chimneys, fireplaces, and more.
• Repair or replace damaged bricks or stones.
