Job summary

Iquest Management Consultants is seeking a Manager Stores to oversee end-to-end store operations for multiple EPC project sites in Muscat, Oman. The role requires a graduate with 5+ years in a managerial position and hands-on SAP MM experience, plus a valid passport and willingness to relocate on short notice.

Responsibilities include controlling receipts, storage, inventory levels, staff supervision, and coordinating with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance, and Logistics.

Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • Qualification in Material Management or Inventory Management is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years in a managerial position.
  • Hands-on SAP MM experience is essential.
  • Must possess a valid passport.
  • Willing and able to relocate to Muscat, Oman on short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end store operations for multiple EPC project sites.
  • Plan, organise and control receipt, storage, preservation and issue of materials.
  • Ensure optimum inventory levels while avoiding stock shortages and excess inventory.
  • Monitor material movements and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Lead and supervise store personnel, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Procurement, Finance and Logistics for smooth material flow.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements and international warehousing standards.
  • Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Maintain proper documentation for goods receipt notes, material issue notes, transfer notes and other inventory records.
  • Ensure proper identification, coding and storage of project materials.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimise losses and pilferage.
  • Coordinate disposal of obsolete and surplus materials per procedures.
  • Support audits related to inventory operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement in store operations through SAP and best practices.

Requirement- Manager Stores | Muscat, Oman

  • Education: Graduate in any discipline.
  • Additional qualification: Qualification in Material Management or Inventory Management will be an added advantage.
  • Experience: 810 years of relevant experience in Store Management. As per the attached JD
  • Managerial experience: Minimum 5 years in a managerial position.
  • SAP: Hands-on experience in SAP MM (Material Management / Inventory Management Module) is essential.
  • Passport: Must possess a valid passport.
  • Relocation: Must be willing and able to relocate to Muscat, Oman at short notice.
