Job summary

Worley is seeking a Manager, Completions/Turnover in Muscat to lead completions and turnover from construction through commissioning and handover. You will supervise systemization, mechanical completion, punch list management and ensure readiness for start-up.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and extensive experience in oil & gas projects, with strong stakeholder management and leadership of multidisciplinary teams, emphasizing HSSE and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in completions, turnover, commissioning and handover in major industrial or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of systemization, mechanical completion and handover requirements.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating across engineering, construction, commissioning and operations.
• Commitment to HSSE and quality management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead completions and turnover activities from construction through commissioning, start-up and final handover.
• Oversee systemization, mechanical completion and turnover processes to ensure project readiness.

Primary Objectives / Responsibilities

• Provide strong HSSE leadership and promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
• Lead completions and turnover activities from construction through commissioning, start-up, and final handover.
• Manage systemization, mechanical completion, punch listing, and turnover processes to ensure project readiness.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams to achieve successful system handover.
• Provide clear leadership and direction to completions and turnover personnel to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards, and contractual requirements.

Specific Accountabilities

• Manage and coordinate completions, mechanical completion, and turnover activities across all project systems.
• Oversee systemization activities and ensure systems are prepared for commissioning and handover.
• Monitor punch list management and ensure timely close-out of outstanding items.
• Coordinate interfaces between engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Oversee the preparation, verification, and acceptance of turnover dossiers and handover documentation.
• Track and report completions progress, milestones, risks, and critical actions.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to resolve completions and turnover issues.
• Ensure all turnover deliverables meet quality and project requirements before handover.
• Support commissioning, start-up, and final project close-out activities.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in completions, turnover, commissioning, and handover activities within major industrial or Oil & Gas projects.
• Strong knowledge of systemization, mechanical completion, and handover requirements.
• Experience with completions management systems and turnover processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution activities.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex project environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSSE and quality management principles.
• Experience managing resources within multicultural and diverse work environments.
• Experience managing EPCM projects.
