Job summary

Worley in Oman seeks a seasoned Senior Project Manager to lead Brownfield EPCM projects in a complex, multidisciplinary environment. You will drive HSSE leadership, coordinate engineering and procurement activities, and ensure delivery on time and within budget while aligning with client objectives.

You will mentor leadership teams, foster collaboration across diverse cultures, and manage multiple priorities with a focus on safety and performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• 10+ years in Brownfield Oil & Gas project delivery within PM, Engineering, or Design roles.
• 10+ years of experience coordinating multidisciplinary project delivery teams.
• Experience managing EPCM projects and portfolios.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the EPCM team for Brownfield projects.

Primary Objectives / Responsibilities

• Provide strong HSSE leadership and promote a culture of safety, integrity, and operational excellence.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage the EPCM team to ensure the successful delivery of a portfolio of Brownfield EPCM projects.
• Ensure clear alignment and communication of customer objectives across all project stakeholders to achieve or exceed expectations.
• Act as a mentor and coach to the Contract Leadership Team, providing guidance, support, and strategic direction.
• Provide clear and focused leadership to establish a vision for project success and implement strategies to achieve project objectives.
• Foster collaboration, resolve issues, remove barriers, and drive team performance to achieve contractual and business goals.

Specific Accountabilities

• Support the Project Manager in the execution and delivery of project work.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects in accordance with agreed objectives covering Technical Integrity, HSSE, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Performance.
• Ensure project activities are executed in accordance with approved scope, budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project deliverables are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support stakeholder engagement and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with applicable contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement, lessons learned, and best practices across project teams.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Brownfield Oil & Gas project delivery within Project Management, Engineering, or Design roles.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with multidisciplinary project delivery teams in complex project environments.
• Experience managing portfolios of projects and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing resources within multicultural and diverse work environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to HSSE leadership and management within Brownfield project environments.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project execution is advantageous.
• Experience managing EPCM projects.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, project controls, and risk management.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams within complex operational environments.
• Strong commitment to HSSE excellence and continuous improvement.
