The Manager Business Transformation will lead and deliver enterprise-wide operational transformation initiatives across the bank to include branches and Back-Office Operations. The role is accountable for driving end-to-end process re-engineering, digital transformation, system implementation, and operational risk enhancement initiatives to ensure:
- Operational efficiency and cost optimization
- Strong internal controls and fraud prevention
- Regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Adoption of emerging technologies and automation
This role requires a self-driven change leader who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on execution capability and can independently drive initiatives while effectively managing cross‑functional teams.
Principal Accountabilities
- Enterprise Process Transformation
- Identify high‑impact transformation opportunities across branches and operations.
- Conduct detailed End-to-End (E2E) analysis of As-Is processes.
- Perform GAP analysis covering efficiency, control weaknesses, fraud risk exposure, and compliance gaps.
- Redesign processes aligned with best practices, regulatory requirements, and digital enablement.
- Lead implementation from concept to post‑go‑live stabilization.
- Core Banking & BPM Implementation Leadership
- Act as Business Lead in Core Banking transformation projects (e.g. implementation / upgrades).
- Lead BPM implementation initiatives (e.g., Newgen or similar workflow automation platforms).
- Draft and review:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Specifications
- Solution Design Documents
- UAT strategy and execution
- Ensure seamless integration between core systems, digital platforms, and operational workflows.
- Digital & Automation Enablement
- Identify opportunities for:
- Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled decision tools
- Workflow automation
- Process digitization
- Open Banking and API integration
- Drive reduction of manual intervention and operational risk.
- Ensure technology adoption improves both customer journey and employee productivity.
- Embed strong preventive and detective controls within redesigned processes.
- Minimize internal and external fraud exposure.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and internal audit standards.
- Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Internal Audit to proactively close control gaps.
- Project & Change Management
- Lead multiple transformation projects simultaneously.
- Manage cross‑functional teams including IT, Operations, Branches, Risk, and Vendors.
- Conduct Steer Cos, working groups, stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Ensure structured communication to impacted stakeholders.
- Drive user adoption and behavioral change across the organization.
- Governance & Management Reporting
- Develop and publish structured MIS dashboards for:
- Transformation pipeline
- Benefits realization
- Risk mitigation status
- Project milestones
- Provide management updates to Executive Leadership.
- Ensure clear tracking of ROI and operational impact.

- BPM systems (Newgen or equivalent)
- Experience leading large‑scale operational transformation initiatives.
Technical & Functional Competencies
