Job summary

Brentwood Infoscribe in Muscat, Oman, is seeking an ITI Electrician or Diploma holder to handle LV switchgear panel wiring and panel building according to drawings and diagrams. You will perform control and power wiring, install and wire protective devices, and read circuit diagrams.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in LV switchgear panel wiring or panel building, with hands-on skills in ferruling, crimping, and cable dressing, ready to work in a factory setting and relocate to Muscat.

Qualifications

• Experience in LV switchgear panel wiring and panel building per approved drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Hands-on ability to read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, and panel layouts.
• Willingness to relocate to Muscat, Oman and work in a factory production environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out LV switchgear panel wiring and panel building as per approved drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform control wiring, power wiring and internal panel wiring.
• Install and wire MCB, MCCB, contactors, relays, timers, meters, indication lamps, push buttons and control devices.
• Read and interpret circuit diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and panel layouts.
• Perform component mounting, wire routing, cable dressing, termination, ferruling and crimping.
• Ensure neat, accurate and reliable panel workmanship.
• Conduct point-to-point checks, continuity checks and basic testing.
• Identify and rectify wiring faults, loose connections and incorrect terminations.
• Assist in inspection, testing and troubleshooting before dispatch.
• Coordinate with supervisors, panel builders and engineers to meet quality and timelines.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.
