Job summary

You will guide budgeting, SOPs, staff development and cross‑department collaboration to uphold Hyatt’s brand standards. Responsibilities include implementing decisions, recruiting and training, and coordinating with Engineering for maintenance and energy programs.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of housekeeping experience in luxury hotels.
• Minimum 3 years of management or supervisory leadership experience.
• Proven experience managing and developing housekeeping teams.
• Strong knowledge of luxury cleaning, laundry, linen, wardrobe, and garment-care standards.
• Experience developing SOPs, schedules, checklists, and quality-control systems.
• Private-household experience is highly advantageous.
• Five-star luxury hotel or high-end residential experience preferred.
• UAE or GCC experience an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Housekeeping, Hotel Management or related discipline preferred.
• Professional, discreet, proactive, trustworthy, organized, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all decisions of the Executive Committee are implemented in the Housekeeping Department.
• Ensure hotel vision and business plans are reflected in housekeeping operations.
• Maintain adherence to policies, procedures and rules across the team.
• Ensure effective communication between Housekeeping and other departments.
• Build teamwork and commitment within the team and hotel.
• Recruit, interview and hire staff as needed; set high performance standards.
• Train staff for current duties and future growth; manage schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering for preventative maintenance and energy programs.
• Supervise cleanliness, inventory, safety, and guest services standards.
• Support in planning renovations and FF&E replacements as appropriate.
