Job summary

Al Najd Projects & Petrochemical Services SPC seeks an experienced drafting professional to develop precise technical drawings and layouts for construction and manufacturing projects. You will translate designs from engineers and architects into executable CAD drafts, review revisions, and maintain organized drawing records.

Responsibilities include site visits, preparing documentation for bids, and utilizing 3D modeling to visualize concepts for clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
• At least 3 years of hands-on drafting experience in construction or manufacturing is preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is a must for creating accurate drawings.
• Certification from recognized bodies such as ADDA is highly valued.
• Fluency in English is required; additional languages may help for international projects.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software ensuring precision and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into workable drafting solutions
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Prepare layout designs for construction projects including dimensions materials and construction methods
• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements providing insights that enhance the design process
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions ensuring easy access for future reference and project continuity
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation including specifications and reports to support project bids and proposals
• Utilize 3D modeling software to create realistic representations of design concepts enhancing visualization for clients and teams
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology to continuously improve skills and methodologies
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards in all drafting work prioritizing the integrity of the project
