Job summary

Saif Ahmed Al Rashdi ENT. in Muscat, MA, OM. is seeking a talented draftsman or kitchen designer to create meticulous kitchen designs and prepare manufacturing drawings. You will coordinate electrical, water, and gas connections and ensure accuracy across sheets of quantity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of drafting/kitchen design experience, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD or similar), and a solid portfolio demonstrating previous projects. This is an on-site role with room for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture, interior design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a draftsman or kitchen designer with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD or similar).
• Excellent technical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and kitchen design standards.
• Ability to coordinate with electricians, plumbers, and contractors.
• Experience in preparing sheets of quantity and coordinating technical aspects of kitchen projects.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand requirements for kitchen designs.
• Use CAD to create detailed kitchen layouts, floor plans, elevations, and sections.
• Ensure designs comply with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, and gas professionals for connections and fixtures.
• Prepare sheets of quantity detailing materials, dimensions, and specs.
• Work with manufacturing teams to translate designs into production-ready drawings.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, and engineers.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in kitchen design and construction.
