Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years experience in land surveying.
• Proficient in using surveying equipment and CAD software.
• Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to land surveying.
• Strong mathematical skills for calculations involving distance, angles, areas, etc.
• Physically fit with the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using specialized equipment such as GPS systems, total stations, and drones
• Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed maps and drawings of surveyed areas
• Analyze survey data to determine property boundaries, elevation changes, and other relevant information
• Communicate with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to ensure accurate placement of infrastructure or features on the land
• Maintain accurate records of survey data and produce reports as needed
