Job summary

Woopel is seeking a Land Surveyor for Al Buraymi, Oman to conduct on-site surveys, collect data with modern surveying equipment, and prepare accurate maps and reports for project managers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in surveying or related field, at least 2 years of experience, and strong CAD skills. You will work both independently and with a team on diverse land development projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Land Surveyor.
• Strong knowledge of land surveying techniques and equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software for mapping and drafting.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site surveys to accurately measure land boundaries.
• Use surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels to collect data.
• Analyze data, prepare maps and reports, and present findings to clients or project managers.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations, and project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers or architects on construction projects involving land development.
• Keep accurate records of survey data, notes, sketches, photos, and calculations.
• Maintain surveying equipment by performing routine maintenance checks and calibrations.
