Job summary

EliteHire in Nizwa, Oman, is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor to measure and map land surfaces, determine property boundaries, and provide data for construction projects. You will use GPS, total stations, and drones to collect data, prepare reports and drawings, and collaborate with engineers and architects.

A Bachelor's degree in surveying and at least 2 years of experience are required; English is essential with Arabic preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in land surveying.
Strong mathematical skills and proficiency with surveying software.
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to land surveying.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic fluency preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct surveys to determine land boundaries and topographical features.
Use GPS total stations and drones to collect data.
Prepare accurate reports and drawings based on survey results.
Collaborate with engineers and architects on construction projects.
Ensure all work complies with relevant laws, regulations and standards.
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
Manage survey crew members and delegate tasks as needed.
