Job summary

The Oman Investment Authority is seeking a qualified candidate to manage and oversee joint venture growth and development activities. This role focuses on delivering strategic oversight and ensuring compliance with agreements while optimizing asset performance across multiple blocks.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or Geoscience, with significant experience and strong leadership qualities to effectively manage a team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Geoscience or Petroleum Engineering.
• Strong background in Geoscience and Petroleum Engineering.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic proficiency is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-discipline assessments for joint venture assets.
• Represent Oman Investment Authority at technical and governance meetings.
• Oversee the analysis of JV asset performance.
• Develop alternative asset development strategies.
• Conduct reviews and validations of reserves estimation.
• Manage evaluation and award process for proposals.
