The JuniorRenewable Energy Project Developer will support the development ofutility-scale wind and solar farm projects from concept to construction. Thisrole involves assisting in site identification, feasibility analysis,permitting, stakeholder engagement, and financial modeling. The ideal candidateis passionate about renewable energy, eager to learn, and possesses stronganalytical and organizational skills to contribute to the successful executionof clean energy projects.

KeyResponsibilities:

1. Project Development Support:

• Assist in site selection for wind and solarprojects by analyzing land suitability, resource potential (wind/solar data),grid connectivity, and environmental constraints.
• Conduct preliminary feasibility studies,including land use assessments, topography reviews, and regulatory zoningchecks.
• Support the preparation of project budgets,timelines, and risk assessments.

1. Permitting & RegulatoryCompliance:

• Help coordinate permitting processes withlocal, state, and federal agencies (e.g., environmental impact assessments,land-use permits).
• Track regulatory requirements and deadlines toensure compliance with renewable energy policies and incentives.

1. Stakeholder Engagement:

• Assist in building relationships withlandowners, local communities, utilities, and government officials.
• Support public consultations and communityoutreach initiatives to address concerns and gain project approvals.

1. Financial & Technical Analysis:

• Collaborate with senior developers to createfinancial models, including LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy), ROI, and cash flowprojections.
• Analyze meteorological data (wind speed, solarirradiance) and energy yield assessments.
• Review engineering designs and technicalspecifications for turbines, solar panels, and balance-of-system components.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain organized records of projectdocumentation, including contracts, permits, and land agreements.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations forinternal teams and external stakeholders.

1. Market Research:

• Monitor industry trends, policy changes, andcompetitive landscapes in renewable energy markets.
• Identify new opportunities for wind and solarproject development.

Requirements

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, RenewableEnergy or a related field.

Experience:

• 1–2 years of experience in renewable energy,project development, or a related field (internships included).
• Familiarity with wind/solar project lifecyclestages (development, permitting, construction, operations).

Technical Skills:

• Basic proficiency in GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS,Google Earth Pro), PVsyst (for solar) and/or wind modeling software (e.g.,WindPro, WAsP) preferably.
• Intermediate Excel skills for data analysis andmodeling.
• Python (Pandas, NumPy) or MatLab preferably.
