Job summary

GlobalProcure seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to join our Salalah team in Oman on a contract basis with possible extension. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, calibrate sensors, transmitters, controllers and analyzers, and install new instrumentation systems as needed.

The role requires at least 2 years of oil and gas instrumentation experience, the ability to read manuals and schematics, and a commitment to safety on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Vocational/technical training in instrumentation preferred
• 2+ years of experience as Instrument Technician in oil & gas environment
• Familiarity with calibration techniques and tools
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and blueprints
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Able to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Salalah Oman Our company provides specialized technical services to the oil and gas industry and we are looking for a skilled technician to assist with maintenance and repair of various instrumentation equipment This is a contract position with the opportunity for extension

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of instrumentation equipment such as sensors transmitters controllers and analyzers
• Troubleshoot issues with equipment and make necessary repairs or replacements
• Calibrate instruments using specialized tools and software
• Install new instrumentation systems as needed
• Keep detailed records of maintenance performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while working on site

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required vocational or technical training in instrumentation preferred
• At least 2 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in the oil and gas industry
• Strong understanding of various types of instrumentation equipment and their functions
• Familiarity with calibration techniques and tools
• Ability to read technical manuals schematics and blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Salary

The salary for this position is 1600$ per month

Location

This job is located in Salalah Oman

Preference

This job is open to all candidates but preference will be given to Filipinos currently living in Oman

English Requirement

Fluency in English is not required but basic communication skills are preferred
