Job summary

PrimeLedger Associates in Nizwa is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1100$ per month.

Responsibilities include installing and calibrating instruments, diagnosing faults, and maintaining records. Preferred candidates may include those open to non-Nizwa residents and those located in Nizwa or surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Instrument Technician.
• Knowledge of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermometers, flow meters, etc.
• Familiarity with control systems including PLCs, DCSs and SCADA systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work in various industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Install new instruments and control systems according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair faulty instruments and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments and control systems.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accuracy.
• Keep detailed records of repairs, maintenance and calibration.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient functioning of all instruments.
