Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Oman is seeking a Fresh Graduate Engineer to join the team on a site-based railway project. You will assist senior engineers with installation, testing, commissioning, and documentation, while gaining practical knowledge of signalling and infrastructure systems.

Ideal candidates are fresh graduates or have up to 1 year of experience, with a strong willingness to learn, English fluency, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of professional experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical and practical engineering skills.
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings, technical documentation, and engineering principles.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive approach with the ability to work effectively under the guidance of senior engineers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities across assigned railway project activities.
• Support site surveys, inspections, measurements, and technical assessments as required.
• Assist with troubleshooting activities and support the identification and resolution of technical issues under the guidance of experienced engineers.
• Support the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical documentation, installation records, inspection reports, and project documentation.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings, technical specifications, and installation procedures.
• Follow approved project procedures, HSE requirements, safety regulations, and quality standards during all site activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, technicians, and other project teams to complete assigned activities effectively and on schedule.
• Participate in site meetings, technical discussions, and project activities to gain practical knowledge of railway engineering and project execution.
• Apply engineering principles and develop practical knowledge of railway signalling and infrastructure systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
