Job summary

DMC Healthcare is seeking an OH & EMS Doctor for offshore and industrial environments in Oman. The role requires 5+ years in Emergency Department or EMS and at least 3 years in Occupational Health, with mandatory oil & gas sector experience.

The candidate must hold MD/MBBS with Occupational Medicine certification and current licensing, plus BLS/ACLS/ATLS and related certifications. Duties include primary and emergency care, medical surveillance, and close coordination with HSE teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and emergency medical care.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency and occupational health cases.
• Conduct occupational health assessments and fitness-to-work evaluations.
• Manage work-related injuries and illnesses.
• Conduct health risk assessments and workplace health surveillance.
• Support hearing, respiratory, heat-stress, and chemical-exposure surveillance programs.
• Provide emergency response, stabilization, triage, and referral when required.
• Maintain accurate medical records and reports.
• Coordinate with HSE and management on occupational health matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety standards.

Salary: OMR 1,500 per month
Duty Roster: 30 days on duty / 30 days off

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Medicine (MD/MBBS) with certification in Occupational Medicine or equivalent.
• Certification or membership in Emergency Medicine.
• Valid professional medical license/eligibility as applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• START Triage Certification
• Medical Review Officer (MRO) Certification
• HACCP Level 3 Food Safety
• Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Emergency Department or Emergency Medical Services.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Health.
• Oil & Gas industry experience is mandatory.
• Experience in offshore, refinery, petrochemical, or petroleum processing environments is preferred.
