Job summary

Aramco seeks a Crisis Communications and Issues Management Specialist to lead monitoring and coordination for crisis response. Your role is to assess incidents, develop mitigation plans, and update the corporate crisis communications manual while training staff across functions.

You will support senior leaders, manage multiple crisis-related projects, and ensure timely, accurate communications during incidents that could impact the company’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications or related field from an approved program.
• 10 years of experience in developing crisis communication strategies.

Responsibilities

• Update the Crisis Communications Manual monthly and prepare copies for management on a quarterly basis.
• Assist business lines with their Crisis Communications manuals & training requirements.
• Ensure that the Media room is running and updated with current technology and equipment.
• Conduct weekly video conference testing in collaboration with other functions.
• Respond to incidents or issues that have the potential to damage the Company’s reputation.
• Prepare communications as needed during an incident or threat to the Company’s brand.
• Support Corporate Communication strategic initiatives by developing and maintaining a crisis plan.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects and initiatives within a busy media team.
• Leverage available enterprise data and research to inform future communication strategies, content creation and engagement.
• Develop KPIs and metrics to measure the effectiveness of crisis communications strategies.
• Provide advisory support on crisis media issues to senior leaders.
