Responsibilities include driving P&L, revenue growth, and strategic operations while ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. GCC experience is preferred for market expansion and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline required.
• 15+ years of experience in Aluminium & Faade Industry.
• GCC/Middle East experience preferred.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced General Manager Aluminium & Faade Works to lead and scale a high-performing business unit specializing in faade engineering, aluminium systems, curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, and architectural metalwork. The role carries full responsibility for business performance, project delivery, commercial management, technical excellence, and strategic growth across regional markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Leadership & Operations

• Own the P&L, revenue growth, profitability, budgeting, and operational performance of the business unit.
• Develop and execute business strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
• Drive efficiency across estimating, procurement, fabrication, installation, and after-sales operations.
• Monitor key business metrics related to safety, quality, cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.

Technical & Project Leadership

• Provide leadership on aluminium faade systems including curtain walls, structural glazing, cladding, louvres, canopies, and specialist faade solutions.
• Lead design reviews, value engineering, technical approvals, and quality assurance processes.
• Oversee multiple large-scale faade projects from design through installation and handover.
• Ensure compliance with international faade standards, building codes, and industry best practices.

Commercial & Contract Management

• Lead bid strategy, pricing, risk assessment, and contract negotiations.
• Manage claims, variations, extensions of time, final accounts, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure effective cash flow management, payment collections, and commercial governance.

Client & Business Development

• Build and maintain relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Lead major bids, presentations, and strategic business development initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities across commercial, residential, hospitality, infrastructure, and mixed-use sectors.

Supply Chain & Market Expansion

• Develop strategic supplier partnerships and optimize procurement performance.
• Support expansion into new markets through business development, partnerships, and operational setup.
• Lead and mentor teams across engineering, projects, procurement, commercial, and operations functions.
• Build a culture of accountability, technical excellence, safety, and continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of experience in Aluminium & Faade Industry.
• Proven experience managing P&L and leading large-scale faade businesses.
• Strong exposure to Curtain Wall, Structural Glazing, Cladding, Building Envelope, and Architectural Metal Works.
• Extensive experience in project execution, commercial management, and stakeholder engagement.
• GCC/Middle East experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, business development, negotiation, and strategic planning capabilities.
