The Financeer is seeking a Mid-level General Accountant to manage daily financial operations, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and close monthly books.

You will help ensure accuracy of financial reports and maintain compliance with VAT regulations and ZATCA requirements. Strong teamwork and confidentiality are essential.

General Accountant responsible for managing daily financial operations, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly closings. Role requires ensuring accuracy of financial reports and compliance with Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority (ZATCA) requirements and VAT regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Experience in preparing, recording and reviewing daily journal entries
• Knowledge of financial reconciliation procedures and account matching
• Ability to prepare periodic financial reports and execute monthly closings
• Understanding of General Ledger procedures and accounting principles
• Knowledge of VAT (Value Added Tax) calculation and reporting
• Familiarity with ZATCA requirements and regulatory compliance
• Ability to review invoices and financial documents with accuracy verification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
• Ability to analyze financial variances and prepare supporting reports
• Attention to detail and confidentiality of financial information
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work within teams and meet deadlines
