Job Overview

PWC Middle East – Finance Manager (Managed Services – Pipeline Requisition)

We are seeking a Finance Manager to manage the day‑to‑day operations for engagement teams within the Finance Service Tower, delivering Finance Managed Services to clients. This role involves overseeing the execution of financial processes, ensuring service level performance, and contributing to strategic plans and improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day‑to‑day delivery for finance engagements and oversee key customer deliverables.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions across end‑to‑end finance processes (e.g., procure to pay, record to report, order to cash, general ledger).
• Demonstrate sound understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls.
• Complete quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established policies, procedures and customer expectations.
• Hold overall accountability for SLA/OLA compliance within the engagement team.
• Apply analytical and financial modelling skills with holistic financial thinking to interpret financial data.
• Manage workload and reporting on progress and issue escalations.
• Monitor and coach team performance, implementing appropriate coaching.
• Mentor and motivate team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with peers and managers to drive ideas/solutions that improve client and PwC efficiency.
• Implement and adapt to new or changing processes quickly.
• Build relationships with all PwC team members and client teams.
• Implement corrective actions for deviations and continuously improve service delivery.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and support execution of Finance Managed Services plans and programs.

What You’ll Bring

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 8+ years’ experience in accounting or financial reporting.
• 3+ years people‑management experience leading a team in a complex process environment.
• Practical knowledge of accounting/reporting systems, P&L and balance sheet.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting processes, risk and controls.
• Knowledge of US GAAP; insurance or reinsurance accounting experience desirable.
• Knowledge of accounting for financial instruments.
• Excellent MS Office skills.

Designations & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business management, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business management from an accredited university (preferred).
• Relevant certifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.) advantageous.
• Experience coaching and coordinating a team to meet deadlines.
• Experience defining and tracking KPIs to measure effectiveness and efficiency of finance operations.
• Experience collaborating to drive ideas/solutions with diverse teams.
• Strong leader capable of communicating fluently in English and driving accountability from a diverse team.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to build strong relationships with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
• Commercial awareness in daily service provision within own area of responsibility.
