Job Summary:
Synergies Castings Oman is searching for a high-caliber Finance Manager to join the team and play a pivotal role in driving the company's financial success. As a strategic business partner, the Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management and reporting, with a strong emphasis on financial planning and analysis. The Finance Manager will be responsible for providing insightful guidance and leadership to senior management, enabling them to make data-driven decisions that optimize profitability and achieve long-term financial goals.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):
- Lead the development and implementation of the annual budget and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Provide clear and concise financial reports and insights to support informed decision-making by senior leadership.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish financial goals and monitor progress towards achieving them.
- Analyze financial data and recommend strategies to improve operational efficiency and cost savings.
Financial Leadership & Strategic Direction:
- Partner with senior management to develop and implement long-term financial strategies that drive sustainable growth and profitability.
- Oversee the finance department, setting departmental objectives and ensuring efficient operations.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the finance team.
Financial Operations & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain robust financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Oversee month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors to facilitate a smooth and efficient audit process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or any related field.
- A relevant certificate such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is preferred
- Minimum 10~12 years of experience in the same field is required.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
