Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or related field.
• Hospital experience mandatory.
• ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent qualifications an advantage.
• Relevant experience in financial management, preferably in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting, reporting and internal controls.
• Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations including accounting, budgeting and reporting.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor financial performance and identify cost‑savings to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and policies in Oman.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support audits.
• Establish and maintain financial controls and risk management procedures.
• Monitor hospital expenses, revenue and performance.
• Supervise and guide the finance and accounting team.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
