Job summary

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an Assistant Manager - Accounts to support dealership operations across Sales and Aftersales. You will partner with branch management to deliver budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting and ensure compliance with IFRS and VAT requirements.

You will oversee cash control, stock, debtor and WIP processes, lead the branch finance team and drive timely audits and continuous improvements in internal controls within a fast-paced environment in Oman.

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant or equivalent professional finance qualification.
• Experience with IFRS and VAT regulations is highly desirable.
• 5–10 years of finance experience in a corporate or dealership environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting and SAP uploads for Sales and Aftersales operations.
• Oversee sales accounting, cash control, refunds, petty cash, daily collections and intercompany reconciliations.
• Review and strengthen stock, debtor, insurance and WIP controls; perform annual stock counts and IFRS-compliant closures.
• Ensure branch adherence to finance SOPs, support internal audit reviews and implement audit recommendations.
• Lead and develop the branch finance team and support ad hoc reports for senior management.
