Job summary

Abroad Work in Nizwa, Oman is seeking a Surveyor Assistant to join our field team. You will support surveyors in conducting field surveys, collecting data with GPS, total stations, and levels, and help prepare maps and reports.

This full-time, on-site position requires good knowledge of surveying equipment, proficiency with AutoCAD or GIS, strong math skills, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather. Biometric passport is required. Relocation is possible with work permits as needed.

Qualifications

• Biometric passport is required.
• Experience as Surveyor Assistant or similar role preferred.
• Good knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or GIS.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain.
• Team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveyors in conducting field surveys and collecting data using GPS, total stations, and levels.
• Help set up and maintain survey equipment.
• Perform calculations and data entry for survey data.
• Assist in creating maps, drawings, and reports based on survey findings.
• Conduct research and gather information related to land boundaries, topography, and other factors.
• Ensure accuracy of measurements and data collected during surveys.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate survey activities.
