Job summary

Work standard is seeking a Land Surveyor Assistant to join our team in Nizwa, Oman. This entry-level role supports experienced surveyors with field work, data collection, and report preparation. Training will be provided, with emphasis on safety and accuracy in the work process.

The candidate should be ready to work outdoors, perform manual tasks, and contribute to daily survey operations. Female applicants are given preference, and a visa/work permit is required for Oman.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of mathematics and geometry.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Physically fit to walk long distances and handle manual tasks.
• Good communication and ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist land surveyors in conducting surveys using equipment.
• Set up and operate surveying instruments such as total stations, GPS receivers, and levels.
• Record data and measurements accurately.
• Prepare sketches and drawings from field observations.
• Assist in preparing survey reports and other documentation.
• Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
