Job summary

TransitPro Solutions in Nizwa, Oman seeks a detail-oriented Surveyor Assistant to support field surveying activities and data collection. The role requires English proficiency and legal work status in Oman, with opportunity for growth based on performance.

The successful candidate will assist with land surveys, operate total stations, GPS receivers, and digital levels, and ensure accurate data records. Applicants should be capable of outdoor work and maintaining independence in duties.

Qualifications

• Must have biometric passport and be legally allowed to work in Oman.
• Previous surveying experience preferred.
• Proficient in English (written and verbal).
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Physical fitness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surveyor in conducting land surveys and measurements.
• Operate surveying equipment such as total stations, GPS receivers and digital levels.
• Collect data and input it into computer software for analysis.
• Maintain accurate records of survey data.
• Perform basic calculations to determine distances, angles and elevations.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely project completion.
