Baker Hughes in Oman is seeking a Field Specialist for Drilling & Completion Fluids to provide on-site services, measure and test fluid properties, and supervise fluid handling at rig sites.

You will work with the drilling fluids team to maintain fluid performance, conduct testing, and advise on product usage and safety. Bachelor's degree required and 3-5 years of fluids experience; travel may be involved.

As a Field Specialist - Drilling & Completion Fluids, you will provide on site services by measuring, testing and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping, including technical analysis and specific product and practical recommendations for controlling fluid properties under broad direction.

As a Field Specialist - Drilling & Completion Fluids, you will be responsible for:

• Providing onsite services by measuring, testing, and supervising the running of fluid mixing and pumping.
• Maintaining fluid properties at rig sites by accurately testing.
• Managing inventory at customer well sites.
• Ensuring effective customer service by keeping rig-site customers informed and creating solutions to problems.
• Being trained in the prevention and cure of Lost Circulation and stuck pipe
• Conducting sales calls at the field level or accompany Sales Representatives.
• Assisting operations in providing customers with effective and environmentally safe drilling fluids.
• Conducting all business activities in line with Baker Hughes policies
