Job summary

Acwa China is seeking an experienced HSE Officer to supervise and implement HSE management systems at plant level, coordinating with operations and maintenance teams. The role reports to the HSE Engineer/Plant General Manager and Corporate HSE Manager.

Based primarily at the plant, you will drive safety programs, conduct training, lead incident investigations, and ensure compliance with local regulations. A NEBOSH certificate and strong field experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing HSE programs on plant sites.
• Knowledge of local HSE regulations
• Ability to conduct risk assessments
• Proficient in MS Office

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in plant activities to support HSE objectives.
• Conduct toolbox talks and on-field HSE meetings with staff and contractors.
• Lead on-site HSE training programs for field personnel.
• Improve reporting and investigations of unsafe acts/conditions and near misses.
• Coordinate and participate in audits of HSE management systems.
