Job summary

Acwa China in Oman seeks an Electrical Engineer to plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance on plant electrical equipment, under the Section Head – Electrical/Maintenance.

You will execute work orders in SAP/CMMS, coordinate with planning engineers, prepare reports, manage spare parts, and drive IMS compliance. The role requires strong English, HSE awareness, and ability to lead a maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s engineering degree in Electrical.
• 4–8 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10 years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assigns preventive and corrective maintenance jobs and coordinates activities of maintenance staff.
• Executes work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinates with planning engineer for job completion.
• Maintains communications to report status and ensure corrective action.
• Supports annual scheduled maintenance planning and execution.
• Evaluates quotations from purchasing and recommends appropriate choice.
