Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; CFA or CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasts, and variance analysis; generate MIS reports.
  • Monitor treasury and cash flow; coordinate banking transactions.
  • Work with ERP systems for financial transactions and drive process improvements.

Job description

To support and manage financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and maintain compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls. The role involves assisting in financial planning, reconciliation, and strategic financial management to enhance the organization's fiscal health and long-term sustainability.

Responsibility
  • Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure timely closure of books of accounts and preparation of financial statements.
  • Assist in financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Taxation & Compliance
  • Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory filings within deadlines.
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in audits (internal, statutory, and tax) and resolve queries.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • Manage vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and expense tracking.
  • Oversee customer invoicing, collections, and credit control.
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
Budgeting & MIS Reporting
  • Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Generate MIS reports for management decision-making.
  • Track financial KPIs and ensure cost control measures.
Treasury & Cash Flow Management
  • Monitor cash flow, fund allocation, and banking transactions.
  • Coordinate with banks for payments, loans, and other financial matters.
ERP & Process Improvement
  • Work on ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, etc.) for financial transactions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
Qualification
  • The ideal Executive - Accounts & Finance - should have 3-4 years of experience in finance or accounting, including experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or CPA preferred.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth understanding of financial principles, investment strategies, and regulatory compliance.
