MOZN is seeking a high-performance Software Engineering Manager to lead a dedicated team building and scaling Focal, with emphasis on reliability and delivering impactful AI-powered solutions. You will oversee design, development, and continuous improvement of core features.

Qualifications

BS/MS in CS or related field
10 years software engineering experience
Previous team leadership experience
Solid communication of technical solutions to end-user and team
Experience with multiple programming languages
Proficient understanding of system design and distributed computing
Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (HBase, Cassandra, MongoDB)
Familiar with Scrum/agile frameworks
Role involves leadership in Middle East growth

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a team of engineers to design, develop and maintain product features
Ensure the code and design quality are against industry best practices and highest standards
Coach and mentor team on high-level design, architecture, sizing, and testing practices
Give engineers feedback on their day-to-day performance
Steer the engineers\' learning and development plans
Initiate hiring and allocate resources to support the team
Removing impediments or guiding the team to remove impediments
Oversee the implementation of the software development process
